I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the MIT Sloan School of Management (beginning July 2025).
I am interested in the interplay between information, incentives, and decision-making, both inside and outside the firm. I use a wide set of research methods including field experiments, surveys, and archival analyses both within a firm and in broad-sample settings.
I hold a PhD in Accounting from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Previously, I worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I served mid- to large-sized private equity- and family-owned businesses. I earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and am licensed as a CPA (inactive) in Illinois.
In my spare time, I enjoy long-distance running and baking rectangular loaves of sourdough bread.
